ACA Screen Recorder is a simple application that allows you to record any desktop activity that happens in fullscreen or in a selected region into an AVI file.

The program sits on your system tray and allows you to record a video with a click of a button. You can also set hotkeys to start/stop video recording and to pause/resume video record. The program allows you to choose a different file name for each video or it can auto-generate one by using a template. If you wish to record a certain region of the screen you can easily select a window, region or fixed region, selecting the width and height or marking it in the desktop with a free-hand feature. Audio and video can be recorded simultaneously and some settings such as video compressor, video quality, audio quality, and audio device can be customized.
